Many of you probably already know that Bloglines will be closing down October 1. I love Bloglines! I have heart palpitations over the thought of them closing and my not having such easy access to my favorite blogs.

I know there are other ‘trackers’ out there but I have no idea what they are. I’m hoping someone will read this post and share with me what they use. I don’t consider myself technologically gifted so I know the heart palpitations are from the fear of teaching an old dog new tricks, so to speak.

So, if you use something other than Bloglines, what is it? What do you like better about it…what do you dislike about it?

If you’re using Bloglines, what are you going to change to?

Help.

    Bloglines is closing down? Oh no.

    I know a lot of people use google reader, but I’ve never tried it.

    What a pain moving all my bookmarked blogs to a new reader 🙁

    Just discovered this myself & I’m not happy either. Loved bloglines, it was so easy!

    I don’t know what bloglines is – I use Google Reader. Love it…

    I just exported my bloglines into google reader. It was pretty easy. But I’m not really happy with bloglines closing. Bummer.

    I went with Google reader too. It was pretty easy to export from Bloglines and import into Google.

    I use google reader and have over 300 blogs in my google reader. These are all listed on my blog and can also be subscribed to if you go to the page they are listed on.

    Also, blogger has following now and these can be kept track of on your blogger dashboard or in google reader.

    Hope this helps.

    I use Google Reader. I find it much better and way more reliable than Bloglines.

    Yep, Google Reader here, too. I switched to it from Bloglines a couple of years ago and have been happy with it. Since I already use Gmail as my primary email account, it’s one less login to remember, too. 😉

    Yep Internets Girlfriend – definitely go w/ Google! I switched from Bloglines a couple of years ago too! With the import tool it’s a breeze!

    I use google reader and I love it!!! And it’s easy to import all your blogline blogs so you don’t have to reenter anything.

    Google reader, just push the button on people’s blogs that say follow and it goes right to google reader.

    Although I don’t mind Google Reader my favorite is FeedDemon. Good luck!
