Just a few snaps of what it looks like now. Plan to take another photo at end of 2018 to see progress.
Some of my “sorting” will take more than one month so I plan to just pop that item back in my “hat” to draw again.
I have so many scrappy patterns and books, but need to know what scraps I have so I can use them! I am also concerned I may have pulled fabric from some of my older WIPs and need to add scraps back in.
1.5″ scraps – sort
2″ scraps – sort
2.5″ scraps – sort
less than F8 scraps (but larger than 2.5″) – sort
shirts – cut up and sort to appropriate container
scrap box – under shirts – iron and cut to usable pieces (2 months)
quilt books – pull for destash or spiral binding so I can use my scraps! (2 months)
quilt patterns – gather, catalog, shelf so I can use my scraps!
WIPs – pull each one, make progress card, add scraps if needed (2 months)
That’s a lot of scraps. I did a lot of sorting and organizing for Sarah’s 2015 challenge and it helped a lot. I must have had scraps scattered in 10 different places.
I like that you’re taking a before and after photo of your stash!
You’ve got a great list of goals there, and I bet you’re going to make great progress in 2018!
Good luck with your goals. Taking a before and after picture is a great idea. Enjoy the destashing. ;^)
